MBAs Without Borders (MWB)

Calling All Volunteers!!

In addition to the data entry, research, and fundraising support our volunteers are currently providing, we have an exciting new opportunity for volunteers to get involved with MBAs Without Borders (MWB).

MWB recognizes that there are many MBA Alumni around the world that are currently unable to participate in our overseas projects, yet wish to offer their assistance towards MWB’s specific projects remotely. With this in mind, MWB has put together a comprehensive system of volunteer support teams that will serve as remote support to the MBA’s on assignment, offering tangible, project based assistance that will have a direct impact on the success of our global development projects.

Our goal is to build teams of 2-3 volunteers to be assigned to each of our overseas projects, offering our clients and partners the additional resources of our volunteer base on a project-specific basis. These teams will work remotely, reporting to the Project MBA (i.e. the MBA in the field), providing subject matter expertise, foreign language assistance, research and writing support, etc.

Using online resources for virtual meetings and document sharing/collaboration, our volunteers can now play an active role in the success of our many overseas projects. Please note, the expected time commitment for each volunteer will be approximately 5-10 hrs per month, and will include scheduled virtual meetings. Volunteers will be screened and interviewed where appropriate to establish fit for each project.

Detailed descriptions of each project you might be interested in can be found on the ‘Projects’ page of the website. Interested volunteers are asked to submit a resume and a cover letter indicating which project(s) they are interested in, and how much of their time they are able to commit on a monthly basis.
